Job Description:
Pay Range: $120hr - $125hr
- As a Full Stack Developer, candidates will collaborate with technology experts to transform business processes.

- Lead the design and development of full-stack applications using React, Node.js, and other modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Architect scalable and secure backend services and APIs.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, especially within financial services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security standards.
- Lead the design and implementation of solutions that meet the evolving needs of the company and align with industry best practices.
- Serve as the technical liaison between business partners, industry vendors, and distribution partners, collaborating closely with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Partner and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture teams.
- Contribute to governed architecture artifacts including solutions, decisions, strategies, and roadmaps.
- Participate in project meetings, status updates, planning sessions, and requirement reviews.
- Conduct design and code reviews, make architecture and technology decisions, and evaluate tools and technologies.
- Review test plans and production support transitions.
- Contribute to the architecture community by attending and participating in architecture and design roundtables, review boards, and guild meetings.
- Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, and core JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with Redux, Express.js, TypeScript, and other relevant libraries.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, particularly for sensitive financial data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Skilled in system design, development activities, and technical requirement writing.
- Ability to lead collaboration sessions for design reviews and decisions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with employees, vendors, and third-party contractors.
- Excellent mentoring and leadership skills with a desire to contribute beyond daily project work.
- Proven ability to provide technical guidance to less experienced team members.
- Experience in AWS cloud application design, development, and deployment.
- Experience with event streaming and web service protocols such as SOAP, REST, JSON, or Kafka.
- General knowledge of insurance data, investment data, and financial data.
- Experience integrating vendor or SaaS platforms.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software development or engineering, preferably in financial services.
- 2+ years of experience in sales and distribution-related business processes and technologies, including one or more of the following sub-domains: distribution management, incentive management (compensation, recognition), broker-dealer administration, or insurance distribution.
- Experience with real-time data processing, event-driven architectures, or message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Exposure to regulatory frameworks such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, or SOX.
- Experience using Figma (Dev Mode).
- Experience with data development, including database design, modeling, ETL, and scheduling.
- Background in financial services such as banking, trading, asset management, or fintech.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
