Job Title: Lead Developer Trading
Location: Onsite Fort Mill, SC or Dallas, TX (locals or nearby Profiles are considered)
Duration: 6+ Months

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer Trading for a 6+ month contract role to support mission-critical trading platform development and cloud migration initiatives. This is a hands-on technical lead role requiring deep experience in .NET, AWS, and trading systems. Candidates must be able to work onsite in either Fort Mill, SC or Dallas, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of trading applications in both AWS and on-prem environments
• Provide hands-on architecture and full-stack development using .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, Angular
• Build and maintain high-throughput, event-driven services with Kafka and other messaging tools
• Collaborate closely with product, DevOps, architecture, and trading operations teams
• Maintain SLAs, system uptime, and performance in a regulated financial environment
• Support production applications and lead issue resolution for critical trading systems

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of full-stack development experience with a focus on financial systems
• 6+ years of experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, EventBridge)
• Deep experience with C#, .NET Core, Angular (v8+), and relational databases
• Strong knowledge of Kafka, event-driven architecture, and microservices
• Prior experience working on trading, order routing, or capital markets platforms
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical teams

Preferred:

• Cloud migration experience (on-prem to AWS)
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments
• Background in trading domain workflows and execution engines
