AWS Cloud Architect

Position: AWS Cloud Architect

Location: Plano, TX (Weekly 5days office is must)

Duration: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AWS cloud architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform across multiple environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment workflows using Python and scripting tools.
• Lead infrastructure planning, cost optimization, scalability, and resilience efforts.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and security best practices.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and participate in root cause analysis.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and evaluate them for use within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on AWS.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and tool development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Deep understanding of core AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline).
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of DevOps, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
