Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Travel Sales Executive with a strong background in airline contracting and negotiations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing competitive airline deals, developing strategic partnerships with carriers, and expanding our travel product offerings. This role requires a deep understanding of airline sales, fare structures, and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and approach airline partners (scheduled and chartered) to negotiate competitive fare agreements and long-term contracts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with airline representatives to ensure favourable terms and priority support.
  • Analyse airline performance, route profitability, and market demand to inform contracting strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, operations, marketing) to align airline contracts with business objectives.
  • Track and report on the performance of negotiated airline contracts, ensuring delivery of expected volume and revenue targets.
  • Monitor competitor activity and airline pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and B2B meetings to expand the airline network.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (3 5+ years) in airline sales, contracting, or travel procurement.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing B2B relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of airline pricing structures, fare classes, and industry tools (e.g., GDS systems like Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive high-value deals under pressure.
  • Bachelor s degree in business, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Existing relationships within airline sales or revenue management teams.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Experience in a travel wholesaler.
