Job Details

Location & Work Arrangement

  • Location: Columbus, Ohio
  • Work Arrangement: Onsite
  • Contract: This is a Contract position.
  • On-Site Requirement: Must be able to work Onsite 5 days per week.
  • Mode of Interview: In-Person (Required).
  • Notes: Selected candidate must complete an FBI fingerprint background check prior to starting.

Key Responsibilities

Domain-Specific Testing

  • Eligibility Systems: Apply extensive knowledge of Integrated Eligibility systems, policies, and benefits, specifically Medicaid and SNAP/TANF (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program / Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) or Child Care.
  • Rules & Policy: Expertise in testing the eligibility rules and understanding the policy implications within the system.
  • Integration & Reports: Knowledge and experience with Reports and Integration testing is highly preferred.

QA Execution & Process

  • Test Scripting & Execution: Skilled in writing and executing test scripts (7+ years experience), covering both manual scripting and execution.
  • Automation (Preferred): Knowledge and ability to script using automation tools such as Selenium & Cucumber.
  • Process Adherence: Strictly adhere to formal QA processes and daily goals established by the QA lead. Ensure all work aligns with the Test Plan schedule and quality requirements.
  • Defect Management: Working knowledge of the SDLC and defect lifecycle. Proactively follow up on questions and defects to closure.

Coordination & Communication

  • Key Contact: Act as the key point of contact for QA aspects of releases and coordinate QA resources.
  • Stakeholder Feedback: Provide timely and professional responses to all requests from stakeholders and provide feedback to the SI team on the implications of testing outcomes.

HHS Domain

7 Years (Required)

Experience with HHS Eligibility Systems and Policy.

Testing/Benefits

7 Years (Required)

Experienced tester with knowledge in Medicaid and SNAP/TANF benefits.

QA Process

7 Years (Required)

Expertise in writing and executing test scripts and adhering to formal QA processes and best practices.

Methodology/Tools

N/A (Required)

Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing. Working knowledge of test management software.

Education

N/A (Required)

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
