Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Collibra Data Governance SME to lead and support critical data governance initiatives. This technical, hands-on role involves configuring and enhancing Collibra environments, integrating metadata from enterprise platforms, and driving data governance frameworks to maturity. You'll work closely with both business and IT stakeholders to promote data stewardship, compliance, and consistent data quality across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:-
Lead Collibra platform configuration and implementation, including metadata modeling and workflow development.

Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and enhance data governance and data quality management initiatives.

Integrate Collibra with ETL tools, BI platforms, and other enterprise systems for automated metadata ingestion.

Utilize Collibra APIs, Groovy scripting, SQL, and/or Python for automation and workflow customization.

Ensure solutions align with regulatory compliance and enterprise data governance frameworks (DAMA DMBOK, DCAM).

Provide SME-level guidance on data cataloging, lineage tracking, and stewardship processes.

Support the continuous improvement of data governance practices and documentation.

5+ years in data governance, metadata management, or enterprise data management.

3+ years of hands-on experience with Collibra Data Governance Center, including workflow design and metadata modeling.

Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks such as DAMA DMBOK or DCAM.

Experience integrating Collibra with data platforms, ETL tools, and BI tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Power BI, Tableau).

Proficiency with Collibra APIs, Groovy scripting, SQL, and/or Python for data and workflow automation.

Collibra Ranger or Collibra Expert Certification.

Experience working in large, enterprise-scale data environments.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially in cross-functional teams.
