Position Summary:

Client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Systems and Validation Engineer with 3–4 years of experience to join our innovative product development team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in systems engineering, validation, and connectivity solutions, who are passionate about delivering high-quality, reliable systems for heavy machinery and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage system-level requirements for embedded and connected systems.
  • Lead and execute validation and verification activities to ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and test engineers to define and refine system architecture.
  • Design and implement networking and connectivity solutions, including CAN, Ethernet, and wireless protocols.
  • Analyze system behaviour and troubleshoot issues across hardware and software interfaces.
  • Support the development of test plans, procedures, and reports to validate system functionality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in system design and validation processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in systems engineering and validation, preferably in the automotive, heavy machinery, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of system requirements engineering and tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion).
  • Hands-on experience with networking and connectivity protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, or wireless technologies.
  • Familiarity with system modeling and simulation tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and data logging systems.
