Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $26.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

We're seeking a seasoned Telecom Field Operations Technician to support a major fiber and telecom infrastructure across Gulfport, MS and surrounding areas. What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, and support fiber optic infrastructure, voice/data networks, and telecom transport systems
- Perform fiber optic splicing, stripping, and emergency repairs (OSP, aerial, and buried)
- Configure IP networks including routers and servers
- Oversee installations and coordinate with contractors and vendors
- Maintain accurate circuit documentation and equipment inventories
- Support SCADA systems and use tools like Site Tracker for project oversight
- Respond to reactive and preventive maintenance needs across field sites
- Participate in 24x7 on-call operations as needed
What You Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in telecom or electronics technology
- Strong background in IP networking and fiber optic repair/splicing
- Familiarity with microwave, wireless, voice, and data network topologies
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software across telecom systems
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50 miles/day
- Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in field conditions
- Must pass a DOT physical exam
Nice to Have
- FCC license or equivalent radio repair certification
- Experience with SCADA systems and Site Tracker
- Military electronics training or technical degree in telecom/electronics
