Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team! In this role you will provide Information Assurance and Cyber Systems expertise supporting Information Systems and ATO packages. Additionally, the candidate will provide support and coordination of Prime Contractor/Government activities required to develop and deliver a desired capability.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Serve as a member of the cybersecurity team, developing Interim Authority to Test (IATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO)packages.
  • Perform technical work utilizing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process including analyzing and solving Information Assurance (IA)-related technical problems.
  • Ensures that system security artifacts are developed, reviewed, and updated as needed.
  • Confirm that all RMF requirements are properly addressed and required artifacts are loaded and managed within Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
  • Perform vulnerability/risk analyses of systems using expertise in relevant information systems security.
  • Track and monitor Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
  • Conduct reviews of cybersecurity artifacts and technical briefings and work with customer to resolve any findings.
  • Ensure that identified security controls are implemented and operating as intended through all phases of the lifecycle.
  • Track deliverables (i.e., artifacts, schedules, metrics).
  • Perform studies on process improvements and provide findings and recommendations to the Government Customer; as part of the findings, communicate and defend plan methodologies, tools, analysis, and results to the Integrated Systems Engineering Team.
  • Identify, define and characterize programmatic and technical risks; provide the evidence-based rationale for this and recommend mitigation for informed management decisions.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Master's degree in STEM with 12+ years of experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • DoD 8570 compliant IAM Level II certification is required
  • Experience with DoD's RMF and PPP processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Capable of performing as a member of a team and assisting with solving complex problems

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Prior experience with large DoD Networks
  • DoD 8570 compliant IAM Level III certification is highly desired (CISSP, CISM).
  • Prior experience with artifact management
  • Experience developing engineering applications for a large organization
  • Top Secret clearance

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
