Description
We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Largo, Florida. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work within the government sector, providing essential technical support and system management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft operating systems and experience in system administration, ensuring smooth operations and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Microsoft client and server operating systems, including Remote Desktop Services, Active Directory, and Office 365.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco technologies to ensure network stability and security.
Provide training and technical support to staff and clients, addressing system-related concerns promptly.
Oversee backup technologies and strategies to safeguard critical data.
Maintain and repair computer hardware to optimize performance and reliability.
Implement system administrative tasks to ensure functionality and compliance with organizational standards.
Collaborate with teams to enhance system efficiencies and support operational goals.
Utilize analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
Ensure adherence to fleet and liability insurance requirements, including maintaining a valid Florida Class "E" driver's license.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
Experience with YARDI is highly preferred.
At least four years of experience in a technical environment, with a focus on system administration.
Proficiency in managing Microsoft operating systems, including Active Directory and Office 365.
Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies and backup solutions.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware and its maintenance.
Excellent communication skills for providing user support and training.
Valid Florida Class "E" driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
