Job Details

Position: Business Analyst or Project Manager (Governance & Disaster Recovery)
Location: Onsite in Memphis, TN
Terms: 18-month contract
Rate: $50 52/hr.


Must-Have Skills:

  • Excellent English communication skills (fluent, polished, and professional)

  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager (mid-level experience preferred)

  • 3+ years of experience with IT Risk Management and Governance programs

  • 2 years conducting post-mortem analyses after IT disasters to identify and resolve issues

  • 3+ years of experience using JIRA for tracking issues

  • 3+ years working in an Agile environment


Job Summary:

This role supports Governance and Disaster Recovery initiatives across multiple teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and has demonstrated experience working with product owners, solution architects, and engineering teams to execute existing processes while identifying opportunities for improvement. Strong communication, initiative, and collaboration skills are essential.


Responsibilities:

  • Implement and communicate the goals and activities of IT Risk Management and Governance programs

  • Collaborate on disaster recovery plans for both SaaS and on-premises products using various infrastructure resources

  • Conduct regular tabletop exercises that simulate real-world disaster recovery scenarios

  • Integrate program enhancements within team workflows and promote documentation best practices across programs

  • Gather requirements, develop actionable plans, and support teams in resolving issues efficiently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field

  • Familiarity with COBIT processes

  • 3+ years of experience in a Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery role (preferred, not required)

  • Experience with tools such as Riskonnect (formerly Castellan), Confluence, and SharePoint

  • Strong process analysis and improvement skills

  • Capable of working independently, managing ambiguity, and multitasking

  • Excellent documentation skills for producing clear, self-service resources

  • Project management capabilities and end-to-end process oversight
