Senior Project Manager - Education Technology (Remote, 8+ months)
iSphere is searching for a Senior Project Manager who thrives on driving big initiatives forward and isn t afraid of complexity. This isn t just another PM role you ll be leading Agile development teams that are building applications critical to Texas s education system. From grant management tools for early education to a statewide IEP module, your work will directly support students, teachers, and the communities they serve.
What You ll Do

Set the Pace: Provide consistent Agile processes that keep projects on track and predictable.

Raise the Bar: Monitor and measure deliverables, identifying opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.

Engage Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with leadership, product owners, and team members to ensure alignment.

Lead from the Front: Tackle risks, resolve issues, and optimize workflows to maximize value.

Shape the Roadmap: Articulate and coordinate the vision, guiding technology initiatives to match strategic priorities.
You ll work under the IT PMO Director but with significant latitude to make decisions and drive results. This is a senior-level role, where your leadership and ability to bridge strategy with execution will have a direct, visible impact.
What You Bring
-
20+ years of experience in technology project management, specifically in software development.

8+ years leading Agile teams as both a coach and a hands-on project leader.

8+ years of experience in software development (you ve lived the lifecycle, not just managed it).

8+ years as a Jira Project Administrator.

8+ years of experience working within state agencies.
