Technical Lead - eCommerce Licensing Monetization

Location: Colorado Springs, CO || Wilmington, DE

Role Overview:

The Technical Lead / Software Licensing will lead design, development, and implementation of scalable licensing and entitlement systems for SaaS, subscription, and on-premise products. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities (Detailed):

• Architect, implement, and maintain software licensing and entitlement platforms ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.

• Serve as the technical authority for license monetization systems, ensuring proper integration with ERP systems and eCommerce portals.

• Collaborate with product teams, IT partners, and enterprise architects to ensure licensing strategies align with business objectives.

• Translate complex business requirements into technical architecture, including API design, system integration, and security considerations.

• Mentor and guide development teams, promoting best practices, code quality, and technical standards.

• Communicate complex technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies

• Expertise in Software Licensing and Entitlement Systems

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services

• Development experience using Node.js

• Integration with eCommerce Platforms and Enterprise Systems

• Designing and implementing robust API integrations

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead, mentoring teams and delivering enterprise solutions
