About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Order to Cash (O2C) Process Consultant to join a high-impact T-OT Transformation Program, based onsite in New York, NY. This consultant will lead the design and optimization of end-to-end O2C processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals around a Unified Financial Foundation, Integrated Operations & Data, and Scalability & Compliance.
This is a strategic role requiring close collaboration with Finance, Sales Operations, IT, and Compliance teams to redesign processes, improve controls, and enable ERP-driven transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Analysis & Design:
- Lead discovery and analysis of existing Order to Cash processes, including order management, invoicing, collections, credit management, and revenue recognition.
- Identify inefficiencies, manual gaps, compliance risks, and opportunities for standardization and automation.
- Design future-state O2C processes aligned with ERP capabilities and internal control requirements.
ERP & Technology Alignment:
- Collaborate with implementation teams to translate business needs into ERP configurations (Oracle Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, Workday, etc.).
- Define key process controls, approval flows, credit/collections policies, and integration points with other workstreams (e.g., P2P, R2R, Cash Apps).
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across Finance, Accounts Receivable, Sales, IT, and Compliance.
- Build consensus on redesigned processes and ensure alignment with broader transformation goals.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure all process designs are SOX and SEC compliant, supporting audit readiness, revenue integrity, and real-time financial reporting.
- Define and support implementation of metrics, dashboards, and KPIs for ongoing process monitoring.
Change Management Support:
- Assist in developing SOPs, training content, and communication plans to support user adoption.
- Provide guidance and support during UAT, go-live, and stabilization phases.
Required Qualifications:
- 12 15+ years of experience in O2C process consulting, transformation, or operations in complex enterprise environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Order to Cash processes including order entry, invoicing, credit controls, dispute resolution, and cash application.
- Hands-on experience with ERP implementations involving O2C modules (Oracle, SAP, Workday, NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of financial controls, GAAP/IFRS, and SOX compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in high-growth, global, or multi-entity environments.
- Familiarity with O2C automation tools, RPA, customer portals, and CRM integrations (e.g., Salesforce).
- Exposure to revenue recognition (ASC 606), collections strategies, or credit scoring systems.
Work Authorization:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
