JOB SUMMARY
The Engineering Intern will work closely with key departments including Operations, Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), and Continuous Improvement. This hands-on internship provides valuable exposure to the rail industry, with the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that drive operational excellence and innovation.

KEY PROJECTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the development and implementation of automation solutions
  • Assist with efficiency improvement initiatives across operations
  • Participate in Kaizen event planning, execution, and follow-up
  • Contribute to visual management, problem-solving activities, and Gemba walks

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Well-organized with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
