A leading financial institution is seeking a Senior Analyst - IT Vendor Management & Consolidation SME to support strategic efforts in standardizing and optimizing IT vendor operations. This role focuses on transforming fragmented, non-digital vendor data into a centralized, value-driven system that enhances cost efficiency, transparency, and performance tracking.

responsibilities:
What You'll Do
Vendor Management & Consolidation
- Maintain and enhance centralized vendor and contract databases.
- Analyze vendor spend, performance, and SLAs to identify inefficiencies and consolidation opportunities.
- Support onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing relationship management with vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and prioritize vendors for consolidation or optimization.
Reporting & Analysis
- Create dashboards and generate reports to monitor vendor performance and track cost-saving initiatives.
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support and insights to internal stakeholders.
- Support the development of business cases for vendor changes, including ROI and cost/benefit analysis.
Process Improvement
- Propose and implement improvements to vendor management workflows and tools.
- Drive standardization of reporting templates and automate recurring reporting where feasible.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across vendor systems.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to facilitate governance, contract renewals, and performance reviews.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support compliance with internal policies and external regulations governing vendor management.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement analysis, or finance.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with vendor management systems (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, SAP, ServiceNow).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in financial services or investment management is a plus.
