Job Details

TCI has an immediate need for a Level 4 Information Security Systems Engineer in Melbourne, FL. This is not a C2C opportunity. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity. Work is a hybrid mix of on-site and local remote in Melbourne, FL. This not 100% remote.
NOTE: This position requires ship and a Public Trust Security Clearance with ability to upgrade to Top Secret Security Clearance.
SUMMARY
The Information Security Systems Engineer will support managed network infrastructures for federal government and other customers. This role is part of the business development team working on bringing new business and new technologies to the company. It will be a dynamic environment and you will be responsible for developing the security architecture for managed networks on new programs and pursuits.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Security Systems Engineering efforts on new business pursuits responsible for developing architecture, selecting new products, and developing cost estimates to implement solutions.
  • Develop proposal documentation and Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
  • Provide expertise and guidance to current programs and Internal Research and Development (IRAD) teams.
  • Develop, maintain and publish network security technical documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor s Degree and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 11 years of prior related experience.
  • In-depth experience with Networking technologies.
  • Experience developing security architectures.
  • Experience writing proposals and developing BOEs.
  • Must be a self-starter with ability to manage projects on their own with little direction.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Experience in application and compliance of customer tailored NIST and FISMA controls and policies.
  • A&A planning and management experience (preferably USAF, other DoD may be fine) for large SOS solutions including experience with TEMPEST assessments.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies.
  • CCNA, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, and other related certifications.
