Job Title: Lead Buyer

Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Buyer to join our dynamic team, focusing on the dynamic and ever-evolving sector of children's footwear. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction and execution of seasonal assortments, with a particular emphasis on digital channels. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in aligning product offerings with consumer demand and overarching business objectives, ensuring a seamless integration of market insights and competitive analysis into the planning process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and execution of seasonal assortments for Jordan Kids Footwear, focusing on digital channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align assortment plans with consumer demand and strategic goals.
- Develop consumer-centric plans across multiple seasons, leveraging market insights and competitive analysis.
- Participate in seasonal buy reviews and in-season trading to optimize growth and performance.
- Work closely with merchandising, planning, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product strategies.
- Utilize historical data and real-time feedback to adapt and curate product assortments.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 5 years in merchandising, retail, or a related field, with a focus on footwear or apparel.
- Strong understanding of retail and digital profit metrics, such as sell-through and margin.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic merchandising plans.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret business and consumer trends.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
