A Series C startup that focuses on AI-powered IVR navigation and real-time customer-agent interactions is hiring Senior Full stack Engineer to join their team. This is a full time hybrid position located in the heart of Chicago.
On the backend, the position focuses on how the call-tree is structured and how it surfaces to clients. You would be working on transcription, voice AI, and ways to add or change nodes in a call flow. If you product-focused, enjoy autonomous work and a fast paced start-up environment, this role is for you.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science
7+ years of experience in software engineering
Experience working with Java or Python
Experience with React and Typescript
Exposure to LangGraph, LangChain, RAG
Experience working with LLM's (RAG, fine-tuning and scalable deployment)
Desired Skills & Experience
Comfortable working with databases and data modeling
Familiarity with AWS EKS and Kubernetes
Exposure to Redis and Postgres
Experience with leadership and mentoring
Strong communication skills

Design, develop and maintain fullstack systems
Maintain performance, security, and scalability
Research on emerging AI technologies and trends
Mentor junior developers on engineering best practices
Work closely with product managers, clients, and designers to guide product development
