Job Title - Device Integration Engineer (Epic Bridges)

Job Tenure - 18 Months
Job Summary:
Under moderate supervision from the Device Integration Manager, the Device Integration Engineer will focus on
integrating clinical devices with EHR systems. Responsible for ongoing support, troubleshooting and maintenance of integrated clinical
devices being supported by the Masimo interface. It will require collaboration between internal teams including interfaces, EHR
application teams, Clinical engineering and IT Infrastructure teams, as well as external vendors and partners. Participate in integration
projects, update processes and procedures, assist and provide support for system upgrades and device testing. This position may be
assigned to work on special projects, and other job duties, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Delivers quality work and meets responsibilities in a timely manner (essential)
2. Colloborate with the user community on functional business requirements that adhere to the standard IT Project
Methodology (essential)
3. Provides assistance to resolve cross-functional issues that are escalated throughout the development, testing,
implementation, and support of the lifecycle. (essential)
4. Supports assigned production environments, troubleshoots technical application issues, documents incoming requests
whether handled internally in IS or with a vendor. Delivers quality support during the implementation of new devices.

5. .Participates in the on-call (rotating) coverage, (essential)
6. Maintains documentation and procedures for managing integrated clinical devices with the EHR. (essential)
7. Monitors status and progress of support tasks and projects. (essential)
8. Participate in and successfully completes BILH Mandatory Education. (essential)

Required Qualifications:
1. High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
2. 3-5 years related work experience required in working in an Information Services Dept. or software vendor organization
within the healthcare industry..
3. Advanced technical computer skills as required for technical support specific to functional area and related systems.
