Job Title: Lead / Senior VDI Engineer Omnissa Horizon
Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of Omnissa Horizon environments
- Drive migration efforts from legacy VDI platforms (e.g., Moonshot, Nutanix) to Horizon
- Integrate Horizon with Workspace ONE, Active Directory, and endpoint tools
- Provide Tier 3 support and root cause analysis for VDI issues
- Develop automation scripts for desktop provisioning and app delivery
- Monitor performance and implement tuning for optimal user experience
- Support disaster recovery planning and testing for VDI systems
- Mentor junior engineers and lead VDI-related projects
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience with 4+ years in VDI technologies
- Expertise in Omnissa Horizon (formerly VMware Horizon), including Instant Clones, App Volumes, and DEM
- Strong Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Group Policy knowledge
- Experience with Workspace ONE, thin clients, and hybrid laptop/VDI setups
- Familiarity with tools like Aria and DEX
- Strong background in large-scale VDI deployments and performance tuning
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred:
- VMware Horizon or Omnissa Workspace ONE certifications
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python)
- Cloud-hosted VDI experience (e.g., Horizon on Azure)
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments
