Job Details

Our client is seeking a skilled and strategic leader to oversee the daily operations, performance, and long-term growth of their expansive network infrastructure. Supporting over 400 retail and distribution locations across the U.S. and Canada, this is an opportunity to drive stability, innovation, and scalability across a highly distributed environment. You ll lead a dedicated team of professionals and play a central role in vendor management, technology strategy, and enterprise connectivity.


  • Location: Farmingdale, NY (onsite)
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay a base of about $165k
  • No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role

What You ll Do:


  • Oversee the health, performance, and reliability of a 24/7/365 enterprise network spanning hundreds of locations
  • Lead and develop a team of eight network engineers and technicians, promoting best practices and operational excellence
  • Manage relationships with telecom providers and third-party vendors to ensure strong service delivery and SLA performance
  • Support network needs for new store rollouts, expansions, acquisitions, and location changes
  • Champion network security, audit readiness, and compliance in collaboration with IT security teams

What Gets You the Job:


  • 7+ years in network engineering/operations, including 3+ in a leadership role over large, distributed networks
  • Hands-on knowledge of SD-WAN (VeloCloud preferred), LAN/WAN/WiFi/VPN, Cisco equipment, and Meraki
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., Prisma Access, Panorama) and core protocols like BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DNS, DHCP
  • Proven ability to manage telecom providers and vendor contracts across a broad geographic footprint
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives across teams and locations
