What We're Doing
Our Rotary Mission Systems team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
As we enter a new era of Strategic Weapon Systems, in Lockheed Martin Space, wea pioneer, partner, innovate, and build-designing and fielding solutions to some of the world's hardest engineering problems. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and rigorous Systems Engineering to ensure mission success.
The Work
The selected applicant will perform the following:
Develop, analyze, and verify system-level requirements; document and manage requirements throughout the lifecycle
Coordinate with customers and contractors to execute verification analyses and tests
Organize/coordinate domain expert objective evidence creation, documentation, and system-level technical reviews
Software development and database manipulation in support of integration and test activities
Automated tooling pipeline management and maintenance
Document creation and presentation for technical and customer reviews
Apply electrical engineering background and/or experience to system design and integration
Approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

Basic Qualifications
Proficiency in Systems Engineering
Experience in Electrical Engineering
Demonstrated capability in requirements and verification (including requirement engineering, requirements management, verification)
Experience leading teams in generation of technical data products
Highly effective communication skills, including ability to explain complex concepts, lead reviews, and negotiate requirements
Experience integrating across functional organizations
Desired skills
MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Project
Experience with DOORS or DOORS Next
Experience with, or on, the FBM program, working with the Navy, or Submarine exposure is highly desired.
Experience with GMD, MDA, C2BMC systems and architecture
Active security clearance at the Secret level or higher

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
