Vice President Financing & Client Services (ATM Group)

Location: Americas Region (Energy, Infrastructure, and Corporate Finance focus)

Project Finance Experience Required

We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President to join our Agency & Transaction Management (ATM) group within Financing & Client Services. This role is central to managing syndicated loan and structured finance transactions in the Americas, primarily in Project Finance, Energy, Infrastructure, and Corporate Finance. The successful candidate will act as Administrative Agent, Sole Lender, or Participant in complex, multi-party financing arrangements and must bring deep expertise in project finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Administrative Agent for a diverse portfolio of Project Finance, Structured Finance, and Corporate Finance transactions.
  • Lead deal closings, monitor conditions precedent (CPs), and coordinate multi-institutional funding.
  • Oversee ongoing borrower deliverables: financial statements, covenant compliance, insurance, UCCs, and collateral.
  • Assess and process CPs for drawdowns, distributions, and debt servicing.
  • Lead and participate in bank group meetings, conference calls, and ongoing relationship management with stakeholders.
  • Interface with sponsors, lenders, legal counsel, independent engineers, and other third-party specialists.
  • Manage waiver and amendment processes, including negotiation and lender coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and timely loan data across proprietary and industry-standard platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Front Office, Back Office, Legal, Credit Risk, and the Paris Data Monitoring team to ensure operational consistency and data integrity.
  • Support special projects such as SMAC and anomaly maintenance, LGD troubleshooting, and portfolio reporting.
  • Participate in internal improvement initiatives and project management efforts.
  • Manage both sole lender and participant positions in syndicated deals.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in syndicated loan operations, agency services, or leveraged/project finance at a reputable institution.
  • Solid understanding of LMA or LSTA documentation and market standards.
  • Hands-on experience with systems such as Loan IQ, ClearPar, ACBS, or WSO.
  • Strong background in deal coordination, closings, and project management.
  • Proven track record in managing project finance or structured finance transactions (Real Assets, Infrastructure, Energy).
  • Excellent client service, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Master s degree in a relevant discipline.
