The pay range for this position in Malvern, PA is $99,000 to $158,000.
The pay range for this position in San Diego, CA is $111,000 to $177,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Systems Engineer
Job Description
Your role:
- Performing overall technical leadership and responsibility for realization of full systems product release/life cycle management to ensure quality and compliance.
- Translating user and business requirements into product requirements and high-level product design, while checking and optimizing integration and verification.
- Executing system decomposition and allocation of derived requirements down to Hardware/Software element, part level and related traceability.
- Trading-off both product and system design specifications and interfaces. Determining feasibility of potential solutions, and leading technical and design reviews.
- Ensuring full Product Safety Risk Management in a regulation compliant manner.
You're the right fit if:
- You've acquired a minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical, mechanical or software engineering and have demonstrated technical leadership skills.
- Your skills include:
- The ability to manage complexity, drive results, and persuade stakeholders effectively in the interest of patient safety and quality.
- Experience with medical device industry standards (ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 62366, FDA GMP, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools/methodology is preferred.
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- You are an excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills related to the systems engineering discipline and have the ability to influence and lead cross functional teams.
