As a Lead Network Technology Support, you will be responsible for the overall reliability and operations of ATTs Optical, IP Core, Mobility, and other advanced communication technologies. Performs both fault and lifecycle management to deliver platform technical support on a 24x7 basis to include triage, investigation and remediation of acute and chronic issues that span multiple platforms and technology environments. Must understand the End- to-End service to support underlying technologies (VOIP, messaging, Wi-Fi, etc.).

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the reliability and continuous operation of AT&T's Mobility technologies through 24x7 technical support
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting and analysis, fault resolution, configuration management, change management and performance management
  • Technical skills in Security analysis and troubleshooting and remediation
  • Technical skills that cross multiple functions including networking, servers, applications and tools
  • Interface directly with external clients, 3rd party vendors, and internal/external technical teams
  • Interfacing and responding to external client's telephone calls and email, managing servers, network devices, and applications, verifying utility outputs, and installing patches and software upgrades
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system for servers running UNIX/VMware OSs, in support of business processing requirements
  • Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
  • Strong Dell and HP Vendor Mgmt relationship
  • Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system, hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation

Required Experience:
  • 5-8 years' experience; Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience OS Support: Unix - Redhat, SeSu Linux, UBUNTU, VMWare
  • 5+ years' experience Hardware Support: DELL, HPE, vCenter Mgmt

Desired Education:
  • Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or Engineering preferred

Environmental Requirements:

This position may be responsible for contributing to ATT compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.

Our Lead Network Technology Support earns between $106,100 - $178,200 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
