6 month contract to Hire

We are looking for one Sr.BA/PM. This person needs to have technical knowledge but does not need to be a tech wiz. This person more needs to have lead/built out products. Be able to communicate with Presidents of companies, not just other BA's and describe what they need and present a project plan as well as ask for what they need from said company. (Communication is Huge)

This is a senior-level hybrid role that combines strategic project leadership with hands-on business analysis, specifically within the Property & Casualty insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, technically literate professional who can lead digital product initiatives while engaging with both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital product builds, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and compliance standards.
  • Gather, document, and validate complex business and technical requirements across underwriting, operations, and IT.
  • Manage project plans, risks, and communications, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate collaboration between business leaders, developers, QA, and external vendors or carriers.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, lead workshops, and drive consensus on priorities and scope.
  • Translate business needs into actionable user stories, process flows, and technical documentation.
  • Oversee UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 7+ years of experience in a combined PM/BA role, with a strong background in P&C insurance (carrier, MGA, or broker).
  • Proven success leading complex digital initiatives, especially in underwriting, policy administration, or self-service platforms.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, including experience engaging with executive stakeholders and external partners.
  • Technically fluent understands digital platforms, authentication flows, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing ambiguity in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
