Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented IAM Reporting Analyst to join our team on a remote contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with hands-on experience in log analysis, and advanced Excel-based reporting. You will work closely with application and platform owners to identify access issues, enforce IAM policies, and produce detailed reports to support governance and compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze IAM system logs and correlated data from application, network, and system sources to identify entitlement issues and troubleshoot access anomalies.
• Collaborate with application and platform owners to gather business and technical requirements for entitlement design and remediation.

  • Engage with application teams to drive, track, and document remediation efforts for applications not aligned with IAM policy, especially those with fine-grained entitlements.
  • Contribute to the definition and enforcement of IAM policies and governance related to access entitlements.
  • Analyze survey and access review results to identify gaps and develop strategic remediation plans in accordance with compliance and security standards.
  • Produce detailed reports and dashboards using Excel (XLS), including pivot charts, to communicate findings and remediation progress to stakeholders and leadership.
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based reports, dashboards, and templates.
• Write and troubleshoot complex Excel VBA macros and VB.NET scripts for automation.
• Design and implement dynamic pivot tables, charts, and formulas to analyze large datasets.
• Use functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF, SUMIFS, and other advanced Excel capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient reporting solutions.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver accurate and timely data insights.
• Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Validate and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across reports.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Reporting Analyst or in a similar role.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions and complex formula creation.
• Proven experience in writing VBA macros and VB.NET-based Excel automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience working with large datasets and manipulating data efficiently.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
• Strong analytical skills in log analysis (IAM, application, and network logs).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex reporting, pivot tables, and data visualization.
  • Ability to document and translate business requirements into actionable IAM tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with IAM and access governance tools such as SailPoint, or similar.
• Familiarity with databases or basic SQL for data extraction is advantageous.
• Experience working in large financial enterprise environment or regulated industry.
