Job Details
Piper Enterprise Solutions is currently looking for a Wireless Engineer to be a part of an enterprise leader in infrastructure technology. The Wireless Engineer will be responsible for working with Cisco Wireless LAN products in customer-facing situations. This position is a 100% remote role that requires roughly 30% domestic travel. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment and is experienced in Cisco Wireless LAN products, Ekahau, and Meraki network elements.
Responsibilities of Wireless Engineer include:
Acting as a Subject Matter Expert in customer facing situations
Make use of a lab to support customer testing and feature validation
Ability to configure and manage Wireless LAN Controller best practices
Leverage programmability for implementation, reporting, and validation
Design, engineer, and implement wireless solutions
Qualification of Wireless Engineer include:
3+ years of experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment
Experience with networking technology (LAN switching and routing, WLAN protocols, and related technologies)
Experience with specifically Cisco Wireless products and technologies
Understanding of Cisco Meraki dashboard and API for management and implementation of wireless networks.
Familiarity configuring Cisco IOS-XE, Meraki network elements, and Ekahau
Compensation for Wireless Engineer include:
Annual Salary Expectations: $80,000- $105,000
