Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team in Detroit, Michigan.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee the successful completion of projects and programs, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within scope.

Establish and manage deadlines, assign tasks, and monitor progress to maintain project schedules.

Prepare detailed reports for senior management to provide updates on project status and key milestones.

Lead and direct teams, fostering collaboration and driving results across diverse groups.

Analyze technical drawings and 3D models to address on-site clash issues using clash detection tools.

Conduct troubleshooting for robotics systems and other complex mechanical, electrical, or networked systems to resolve escalations.

Perform live order testing, site acceptance testing, and operational readiness testing to ensure system performance.

Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize functionality.

Travel extensively (75-100%) to field locations, including construction, manufacturing, and warehouse environments.

Utilize data-driven decision-making processes to identify opportunities for enhancing project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 2+ years' experience with technical drawings and/or reading CAD models to resolve on-site clash issues using 3D clash detection reports.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with mechanical, electrical, IT, networked, or software systems.
  • At least 2 years of experience interpreting technical drawings and 3D models for resolving on-site issues.
  • Experience working in field settings such as construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environments for at least 2 years.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot robotics systems or other complex systems, including resolving escalations and conducting testing
  • Practical understanding of network fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, and IP protocols.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or similar methodologies; certifications are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to address business needs.
