• Network engineering planning for all labs across the US
• Service provider experience
• Certifications TCMP, CCIE, CCNA brings strong credibility, should be active certification
• LEAF / SPINE architecture knowledge.
• Different tiers of switches deployed into a zone to support virtualization elements at the bottom
• Physical elements virtualized into software. Virtual router, switch, etc
• Those virtual elements need to connect into layers of switches to connect to the network
• Tenant knowledge
• People skills, explaining things to customers. Work well with others. We don't have that culture where people dont work well with others
• Have worked hard to make the team collaborative.

Job Description

• Participate in multi-discipline project teams and provide all services of a life cycle management data center network engineer.
• Leading and participating in Data Center and Network related projects.
• Create engagement requests for various data center technician teams based on project requirements.
• Perform network configuration changes and migrations using change management.
• Create MOP and configuration network devices to enable complex network designs.
• Interface with system administrator(s) and extended teams to enable connectivity as required.

Job Description

What You ll Do...

• Install, design, configure, support and maintain multiple complex network service devices, cloud

environments, telecommunications and LAN/WAN/WLAN/SDWAN hardware and software.

• IP allocation and management of the data center
• Ability to design, test, implement and support network infrastructure.
• Provides consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management,

integration, and network configuration.

• Document issues, open tickets and follow up till resolution for issues related to hardware, cabling,

networking, storage, firewalls, computes, flavors, VMs, etc.

• Generate documentation such as test plans, test reports, feature analysis based on testing,

deployment guides for code/configuration changes

• Support lab exits and troubleshoot issues found in Production deployments and testing.
• Support project calls working with appropriate project personnel, host meetings for troubleshooting

network function issues with the key stakeholders, address timely test execution towards resolution

• Provide daily status updates to the development Project team.

The Skills and Background You Will Bring:

• Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols as well as network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills.
• Strong understanding of major internet routing protocols; specifically, BGP (confederations and complex route reflector topologies), OSPF, MPLS, RSVP and ISIS
• Thorough understanding of TCP/IP and Layer 2 switching technologies
• Strong Experience with Routing switching platforms of vendors such as Cisco, Arista, Juniper etc and thorough understanding of TCP/IP, routing/switching concepts common routing protocols
• Working knowledge of virtualization and containerization
• Strong experience in virtualization and/or cloud infrastructure environments.
• Experience in migration (and retrofitting) applications and/or operating systems from physical (bare metal) to virtual environments including application profiling and virtual hardware dimensioning.
• Experience with Network Management and Monitoring tools.
• Prior experience with network automation using python, Ansible
• Understanding of Mobility Packet Core and 3GPP specifications will be a plus
