Job Title: Product owner with Mule

Job Type: Contract

Location:Remote

Experience Required: 10+ years

Compensation: $65/hr

Required Skills & Experience:
  • MuleSoft Expertise: Strong experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Design Center, Exchange, and Runtime Manager.
  • Integration Experience: Hands-on experience designing and implementing REST/SOAP APIs, message transformations, and system integrations.
  • Architecture Knowledge: Solid understanding of API-led connectivity, microservices architecture, ESB, and event-driven integrations.
  • Project Ownership: Proven ability to manage technical deliverables, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time project delivery.
  • Development Skills: Proficiency in DataWeave, Java, and scripting for integration solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex integration issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer (Mule 4) and/or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and cloud-based integrations (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Familiarity with enterprise security standards, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security best practices.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between business stakeholders, project managers, and MuleSoft development teams.
  • Own the technical aspects of integration projects, including solution design, architecture, and implementation oversight.
  • Ensure adherence to MuleSoft best practices, coding standards, and enterprise integration guidelines.
  • Collaborate with architects to define reusable APIs, connectors, and integration patterns.
  • Conduct technical assessments, review integration designs, and provide guidance on complex scenarios.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively provide mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical decision-making.
  • Support production deployments and troubleshooting of critical integration issues.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and provide mentoring to junior integration developers.
