Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Developer with strong proficiency in Scala to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications using Java and Scala in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Java and Scala.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work on performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation.
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Scala.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and functional programming paradigms.
• Experience with Spring/Spring Boot frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
