Job Details

We have a position for a Instructional Designer II with one of our clients in Atlanta, GA for an initial contract duration of 1 year 1 month. No third party candidates considered for this position.

The Instructional Designer II position would primarily be responsible for working with stakeholders to assess needs and use that research to create, document, and implement an internal and external Training plan. Additionally, this person would assist with revisions and knowledge support for the assigned projects. The Training plans implemented should maximize the learner experience and enable the end user with intuitive and effective self-service understanding. All learning activities will reflect good practices in learning design and use educational technologies of various kinds that allows dynamic learning for any type of learner.

Creates, leads, and administers customized materials in support of projects assigned that empowers internal team members and external clients with skills, knowledge, and resources to handle every aspect of self-service and operational support for the project. Serve as the Training team subject matter expert for the assigned project(s) and provide support and answer questions as well as identify and deliver continuous improvement ideas for efficiency and business success. Maintain and revise all learning objects, training sessions, records, and reporting needed for team members, boundary partners, and clients for the assigned projects Collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify needs and performance gaps with the project(s). Designs and develops curriculum, course outlines, and instructional plans that link learning objectives with organizational goals, while organizing the content into logical sequences and provides strategies and resources to support learning outcomes by appropriate audience. Develop curriculum and learning strategies that are engaging and impactful considering learner characteristics, learning styles, and blend necessary instructional activities to meet learning goal outcomes. The curriculum will integrate necessary technology tools and digital resources that assist with authoring, delivery of content, and tracking. Assessment tools and evaluation methods will be part of the curriculum built to measure learner progress and effectiveness of the materials and strategies implemented. Feedback will be used to refine and improve outcomes, as needed. Collaborates and communicates with stakeholders and other subject matter experts regarding timelines, milestones, updates, and feedback during all phases of the project to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
