.NET Cloud Architect, Senior Manager
The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate for Cloud Application Development to join our team. With full-stack developer and architect experience, you will lead a team to identify and implement system modernization improvements. You will take a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the development of web-based and mobile applications across multiple projects. You'll be responsible for utilizing their expertise in C#, JavaScript, Angular, Microsoft Azure PaaS, Microsoft Visual Studio, GitHub, .NET technologies, and SQL Server to drive the development process, ensure high-quality deliverables, and contribute to the growth and success of multiple projects with a health account focus.

You will develop solution architecture (SA) and resolve complex issues in a variety of projects through the implementation of requirements analysis, expertise support, and project supervision. You'll apply advanced theories, principles, and concepts. You will contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. You will lead the development of solutions to highly complex problems. You'll generally work with wide latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions. You will be responsible for the supervision and development of first-level Supervisors and Managers.

What You'll Work On:
  • Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining web-based and mobile applications utilizing .NET technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve application performance and maintainability.
  • Perform application assessment and rationalization process to identify dependencies, and tactics for modernization, migration, or refactoring as needed.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and decisions, recommending best practices and technologies for application development.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.
  • Drive the migration of applications from ASP.NET 4.x to ASP.NET 6 with ASP.NET Core 2.x platforms, ensuring seamless transition and improved performance.
  • Develop and maintain applications using C#.NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, and React, adhering to coding standards and design principles.
  • Design and implement Model-View-Process (MVP) patterns to enhance application architecture and maintainability.
  • Create and optimize SQL stored procedures for efficient data retrieval and processing as integral components of the application solution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end and back-end aspects of applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance development processes and methodologies.


You Have:
  • 7+ years of experience in leading application development projects using .NET technologies, C#.NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, IIS, HTML5, and Bootstrap
  • Experience with Project Management principles
  • Experience with JavaScript and React for front-end development and with Microsoft Azure for hosting and deploying applications
  • Experience in SQL database design, development, and optimization, including writing complex stored procedures
  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of SQL Server databases and Transact-SQL for data retrieval and processing
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, DevSecOps principles, GitHub, and JIRA
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $122,200.00 to $227,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
