Job Details

Job Title : HPC Systems Engineer

Duration: 1600 Hours

Location: Houston, TX

Description:

Will provide on-site technical expertise and proactive support for customer's High-Performance Computing (HPC) environment running Omega software. This environment includes one of the largest cluster installations globally, supporting seismic processing workloads with a mix of CPU and GPU-accelerated nodes.

Transition to PixStor on Dell (High Priority).
Ensure optimal performance and reliability of SLB s HPC clusters running Omega.
Support infrastructure refresh initiatives, including compute nodes and storage migration.
Provide proactive recommendations to improve cluster management and operational efficiency.
Assist with break/fix activities on current hardware and coordinate with SLB for out-of-warranty systems
