Responsibilities

As a Permanent Software Engineer, you will:

1. Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions that align with company objectives and customer expectations.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and execute software solutions that improve functionality and user experience.
3. Utilize Node.JS to create server-side applications, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
4. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to enhance performance and adapt to new requirements.
5. Participate in code review processes to ensure high standards of code quality and consistency.
6. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our software solutions remain competitive.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Node.JS.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in Node.JS, with a strong understanding of its nuances, such as runtime, package management, and core libraries.
4. Experience in building and maintaining complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
5. Familiarity with other programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ will be considered a plus.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and devise effective solutions.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
