QA Engineer (Strong Scripting) | Contract | Automotive / EV Industry
We are hiring a skilled QA Engineer with strong scripting expertise to support mission-critical projects in the automotive and electric vehicle industry. Role Details

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems.
- Ensure test coverage, quality standards, and defect tracking across the software lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases.
- Perform performance, regression, and integration testing.
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for long-term scalability.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of QA engineering experience with strong scripting/automation background.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect management tools (Jira, TestRail).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Exposure to automotive/EV or manufacturing domain projects.
