Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Database Administrator based in Boerne, Texas. This role involves designing, maintaining, and optimizing high-performance database systems, ensuring data security and compliance, and collaborating with a dedicated team of developers and analysts.

Responsibilities include:

Designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable database systems.
Ensuring data security, integrity, and compliance with industry regulations.
Implementing robust backup and recovery procedures to minimize downtime.
Troubleshooting and resolving complex database issues to ensure optimal performance.
Developing and executing SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data for analysis.
Creating and managing user access controls to safeguard sensitive information.
Utilizing Microsoft Power BI to design and deliver insightful data reports and visualizations.
Collaborating with developers and analysts to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
Staying current on evolving database technologies and best practices.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Database Administrator role or similar function.

Proven proficiency in managing and maintaining databases is required.

Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server is essential.

Must possess strong skills in Database Administration.

Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for generating interactive data visualizations is necessary.

Demonstrated ability in Microsoft SQL and SQL Programming is required.

Experience in data reporting and analysis is a must.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

Familiarity with current data privacy regulations is desired.

Must have a keen attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
