Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

• Responsible for preparing, validating and analyzing financial information; preparing journal entries; maintaining fixed asset records; reconciling fixed asset and other general ledger account balances on a monthly basis; work closely with other departments to assist with fixed asset and other financial issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare fixed asset account reconciliations, investigating and clearing any reconciling items
• Review fixed asset project and purchase requests for proper accounting treatment and compliance with System s capital policy.
• Work closely with departments in recognizing asset retirements timely
• Provide support for internal and external audits
• Assist in footnote preparation for quarterly/annual financial statements.
• Perform other responsibilities or assignments as required.

Skills: Required Skills & Experience:

• 3 to 5 years in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Education:

• Bachelor s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Master s Degree preferred.

Additional Details:

• Contract to Hire based on performance, however it is not guaranteed
• They are looking for the strongest candidate, so they will look at people who are only interested in temp as well as temp to perm.
• This person will be doing journal entries, performance narratives, budgeting, but they need someone who is strong on the analytics side, that is the most important part.
• Looking for 3-5 years of experience, healthcare experience is a plus.
• Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance MBA is a plus.
• This person must be able to multi-task; they need to be able to take on multiple tasks and still meet deadlines.
• This is the Dialysis division of Client, and they have to be able to tell the story of how the program is performing.
• Must have strong Excel skills.
• PeopleSoft experience would be great.
• Someone who can help with Process Improvement would be great.
• Experience in budgeting would be helpful. Being able to switch from one task to another is important.
• They will be working with 3 other analysts.
