Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable CompTIA A+ Trainer/Instructor to join our educational team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive training programs focused on the CompTIA A+ certification, which is essential for individuals pursuing careers in IT support and technical troubleshooting. Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on CompTIA A+ topics, including hardware, software, troubleshooting, networking, and security fundamentals.
- Prepare instructional materials such as presentations, lab exercises, assessments, and supplementary resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, certification requirements, and emerging technologies relevant to the CompTIA A+ curriculum.
- Facilitate classroom discussions and foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages participation from diverse student backgrounds.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers to refine course content ensuring alignment with certification standards.
- Support students in their exam preparation by offering guidance on study strategies and practical skills application.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in IT support roles with hands-on experience in hardware repair, software troubleshooting, networking, and security concepts.
- Certification or significant experience related to CompTIA A+, such as CompTIA A+ certification itself or equivalent industry experience.
- Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable; university teaching experience is considered a valuable asset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaging instructional materials tailored to diverse learner needs.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
- Ability to motivate students and foster an inclusive classroom environment conducive to active learning.
