We have a direct hire/permanent position for a Full Stack Developer/Staff Engineer 1 for our financial client in Westerville, Ohio. This position is on-site 4 days a week, and 1 day remote.

What you'll do:
Our client is seeking passionate, results-driven Full Stack .Net developers to deliver innovative, industry leading solutions. We want a creative, highly-motivated developer lead who can take initiative, have good sense of urgency and is comfortable working in a fast paced, agile environment.
This position is ONSITE ONLY (4 days onsite with 1 remote day) and you must be located in or around Columbus, OH.

  • Works both independently and as part of a cohesive team to deliver innovative software solutions to customers and business partners.
  • Analyzes business requirements and translates those requirements into tangible work tasks.
  • Collaborates closely with peer developers, QA testers, and business partners to deliver high-quality solutions in a timely manner.
  • Architect, design, create and maintain the full stack (front end and back end) of customer-facing cloud-based applications.
  • Participate in the creation of new products and prototypes from scratch.
  • Develop front and back end website/app architecture.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of the existing product suite.
  • Conduct code reviews.
  • Ensure web products are responsive and optimized for a variety of devices such as low-end mobile phones, desktop.
  • Proactively identify and fix issues to improve backend service scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance.
  • Respond to urgent bugs in a timely manner alongside engineers.
  • Help foster good software engineering practices.
  • Follow relevant company procedures and help create and maintain relevant documentation.
  • Actively participate in all aspects of the software engineering process.

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years experience in analyzing, designing and developing using Microsoft Technologies and .Net framework.
  • 5+ years Full-Stack development using Angular and .Net as Frontend and Backend technologies.
  • Good to have experience working in other UI technologies like React, Node JS, Vue JS.
  • Extensive experience with ASP.NET Web APIs to build Restful APIs.
  • Good working experience in building applications using .Net MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • 3+ years of experience with IaaS, PaaS and SaaS resources in Azure or AWS cloud technologies.
  • 3+ years of solutioning and designing high available client facing production grade responsive applications.
  • 3+ years of experience using Git, TFS/Azure DevOps for source control / project tracking / build management.
  • 3+ years of experience in Database using SQL Server.
  • Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple-tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies and deliver results in an aggressive production environment.
  • Strong analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work in Scrum/Agile environment to plan and estimate the work at different levels.
  • Cloud Architect certification is a plus.
