Snowflake Engineer- 4-openings
Remote - W2/C2C


Job Description:

1.
Design and implement data warehouses using Snowflake and other modern data stack tools.
2.
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ingest data from various sources (e.g., APIs, databases, flat files).
3.
Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, and query tuning.
4.
Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
5.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
6.
Automate data workflows and implement monitoring and alerting for data pipelines.
7.
Maintain documentation for data models, processes, and systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake including SnowSQL, Snowpipe, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python.
  • Experience with Azure, Fabric, and Synapse
  • Experience with ETL tools (e.g.,ADF, Synapse Pipelines, dbt, Apache Airflow).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling (e.g., star/snowflake schema).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, DevOps).
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices. Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
