Job Description:
| 1. | Design and implement data warehouses using Snowflake and other modern data stack tools. |
| 2. | Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ingest data from various sources (e.g., APIs, databases, flat files). |
| 3. | Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, and query tuning. |
| 4. | Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. |
| 5. | Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms. |
| 6. | Automate data workflows and implement monitoring and alerting for data pipelines. |
| 7. | Maintain documentation for data models, processes, and systems. |
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake including SnowSQL, Snowpipe, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python.
- Experience with Azure, Fabric, and Synapse
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g.,ADF, Synapse Pipelines, dbt, Apache Airflow).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling (e.g., star/snowflake schema).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, DevOps).
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices. Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
