Supply Chain Business Consultant

Job Description:

Consultant candidate will work with customer to develop and implement strategies to optimize strategic supply chain processes and supply chain management. Candidate is expected to apply sound expertise, understanding of business contexts, and analytical skills to enable organizations priorities. Work in multidisciplinary teams to help customers make effective decisions.

Experience & qualification:

5+ years of professional experience in procurement, supply chain management, operations or consulting preferred.

BS from an accredited university (MS is preferred)

Strong communication and presentation skills

Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills

Results-orientated mindset

Confidence and persuasiveness

Business-fluent written and spoken English language skills

Skills (Must have):

Expert in Supply Chain as it applies to Oil & Gas specifically business areas pertaining to S&OP/Logistics/Materials Management/Network

Expert in designing and implementing integrated supply chain processes.Responsibilities might include assessing As-Is processes, benchmarking, conducting gap analysis, designing and implementing To-Be processes covering all aspects of SC life-cycle.

Expert in defining Supply Chain KPIs, rationale and calculations with working knowledge of supply chain components and classification.

Ability to guide discussions with value streams on what is typically included and what is not in supply chain KPI definitions and industry benchmarking data / targets related to KPI metrics.

Ability to translate KPI definitions and calculations into documentation that data team can understand and implement into dashboards, and visualizations.

Execution of Data Validation

Working experience:

Leading efforts to harmonize tactical work executed across different projects towards strategic goals.

Interfacing, coordinating, and supporting on-going work and its prioritization as a key link between various projects and Supply Chain organization.

Defining data aspects such as data sources, frequency granularity, relevant visualization for KPI metrics and components.

Defining and supporting change management and communication needed to establish ownership, and adoption across value chains within the company.
