This is a hybrid role in Newton, MA.
General Project Management Skills Required:
- Understand initiatives to facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables and ultimately create project work plans
- Consult with management and review project proposals to determine goals, time frames, budgetary requirements, processes and procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allocation of resources.
- Develop project plans based on an articulated approach and strategy; specifying required tasks and resources and their required skill sets, specific deliverables, milestones, dependencies, identification of risks, and mitigation plans.
- Effectively drive the requirements definition process, working closely with the business analyst(s) and business stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and direction to project team members; drive accountability and engagement; coordinate activities of project resources to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
- Monitor, report, and follow up on the status and next steps of all project components
- Effectively identify, analyze, and communicate downstream impacts of project changes; navigating project changes effectively by removing barriers.
- Effectively apply IT Project methodology and enforce project standards
- Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
- Minimize business exposure and risk on the project. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
