Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of facility engineering, projects, maintenance operations, reliability engineering, utilities, and wastewater departments.
- Develop and manage annual CAPEX budgets for facility improvements and maintenance.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Implement and enforce compliance with all EPA and OSHA policies and regulations to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards in all facility operations.
- Lead and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and procedures to minimize downtime and increase operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and implement facility improvements and enhancements.
- Continually assess and analyze facility operations and processes to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in facility engineering and maintenance management in the Manufacturing industry.
- Professional certifications such as CMRP, CMRT, or CRE are strongly preferred.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of leading and managing projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent management and leadership skills with experience in leading and managing a team of engineers and maintenance staff.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of CAPEX budgets and financial management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of EPA and OSHA policies and regulations.
- Knowledge and understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
