Job Details
Hansen Talent Group is seeking a software tester with strong experience working with Python and Pytest scripts to support an amazing team working to modernize their applications and testing efforts. This is a full time, long-term contract requiring SC residency.
The Software Tester will be responsible for developing testing strategies, designing tests, and executing automation tests to ensure and enhance application performance.
Duties:
- Develop test strategies and detailed test cases to validate data pipelines and transformations.
- Build Python testing frameworks and create automated test scripts using Python for ETL processes.
- Implement automation using Selenium.
- Implement REST API test automation to validate microservices and data ingestion endpoints
- Write advanced SQL queries for data profiling, validation, and debugging across various platforms
- Perform regression testing of ETL jobs.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Use Git for source control and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps for test case and defect management.
- Document test results, defects, and communicate findings effectively.
Qualifications:
- In-depth experience supporting Python testing frameworks
- Experience working with stakeholders and requirement documentation
- Selenium
