CAD Documentation - Telecom Services

CAD Documentation Telecom Services Atlanta, GA Hybrid $40-50/hr W2 only (Absolutely no C2C or 3rd parties) 1 year+
Position Summary:
Develop and maintain CAD, Visio, and transport drawings, as well as standards for Telecom Services documentation. Create documentation standards and templates. Collaborate with Telecom Analysts and Engineers.
Active Initiatives:

• Logically organize documentation in existing internal repositories
• Create standards and templates for Telecom Services documentation
• Document current Ciena high-capacity channels
• Create Fiber Regions/Rings map (FACT Maps)
• Generate NGTAN style Ciena maps
• Track Ciena issues, cases and spreadsheets
• Create Ciena DWDM production inventory in support of Fixed to Flex Grid
• Documentation standards and templates

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Three years minimum experience with telecommunications infrastructure technologies
• Technical understanding of telecom transport, data networks, and other major applications that use transport network
• Professional experience with GIS, CAD and Visio applications
• Create technical documentation and diagrams to describe system specifications and operations
• Knowledge of BMC Helix SmartIT
• Knowledge of infrastructure components
• Knowledge of telecommunications equipment and facilities
• Ability to effectively utilize Office 365
• Ability to effectively organize tasks, manage multiple priorities and meet scheduled deadlines
• Ability to build relationships and work in a team atmosphere
• Ability to effectively create presentations and lead meetings
• Strong analytical skills
• Professional oral and written communications

The compensation range for this position is $40 to $50 W2 only
(dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
