General Purpose of the Job

The Product Manager is a critical role within the digital product team, responsible for driving product outcomes that solve critical business problems across DaVita's kidney care platform.

This role requires defining the vision, strategy, and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for a specific product area, then executing that product vision across one or many applications for various user groups. The ideal candidate is an expert relationship builder, has a bias towards action, and is obsessive about breaking down complex problems into clear product solutions with their engineering, design, and stakeholder teams.

1. Execution & Delivery

Collaborates with business partners, users, designers, and engineering to ensure solutions achieve business objectives. Involved in all phases from product discovery through delivery.

Performs story mapping exercises with the team to break down work for development.

Identifies cross-team dependencies and participates in Roadmap Planning and sprint activities.

Partners closely with legal, compliance, security, and risk teams to ensure the product meets all requirements.

Guides the creation of user-facing communication and education for new features.

2. Discovery & Strategy

Partners with product leadership to refine the product vision and strategy.

Executes discovery activities with engineering and UX/research to uncover user needs and pain points.

Collaborates with the UX team to create usable, validated experiences through rapid feedback and usability testing.

Performs end-user shadowing/interviews with clinic, operations, provider, and business stakeholders to identify user problems.

Works to understand DaVita s identified business problems to advance the product effectively.

3. Data-Driven Decision Making

15%

Identifies and tracks OKRs for outcome-based advancements of the product.

Uses data when formulating problem statements and solution hypotheses that are quantifiable.

Leverages product analytics to make informed decisions, monitor performance, and continuously improve the product toward OKR achievement.

Evaluates and prioritizes potential features for the product area, aligning them to respective objectives and key results (OKRs).
