Job Details

Title: Network/Telecom Specialist / Network Administrator
Duration: 12 months
Location: 4312 District Drive, Raleigh, NC 27607 Onsite
Interview Type: Webcam or In-Person
Pay Rate: $44/hr

Summary:
Provide network and telecom support for COVID and other infectious disease case investigations and contact tracing, working directly with state employees to support infrastructure and operations for existing PHIN operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain hardware and software for computer networks

  • Manage LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, virtual machines, and server/network infrastructure

  • Install, configure, and administer network routers, switches, cabling, and telephony/data systems

  • Execute disaster recovery, backups, and archiving procedures

  • Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, database administration, and fault management

  • Manage Apache Tomcat, WildFly, and Java web applications, including server deployments

  • Support Linux & Windows clusters, system administration, automation, and SAN management
